Ever since Evan got his train set for Christmas, he has been obsessed with trains. I never thought I would allow my kid or myself to get sucked into something so incredibly commercial, but we've made the transition. We are officially Thomas the Tank Engine fans. Evan loves Thomas... and Percy, and Henry, and James, and Cranky, and I'm sure I'm forgetting ten others. He reads Thomas stories before he goes to bed, he wakes up talking about Thomas, he's always bringing me his Thomas movies asking to watch them, and he won't even leave the house without clutching at least one of his trains. So for Evan, riding a life-sized Thomas was the highlight of his young life.
I'm still trying to figure out how to cut and paste video together so it can be one continuous movie, but so far no luck. So here are a couple of pieces of our day with Thomas.
